On A Mission
I'm a firm believer that each one of us has a "task" - one special reason that was inserted within us during those critical seconds of our arrival to this beautiful - big, big world. That "task" also comes in a package with these following questions:
- why we were born and raised and lived in our now-family
- why I was born as an Indonesian, not British (naah)
- why did someone was so flawless
- why did some people hate cats
- why couldn't I have a slight interest to things-I'm-not-interested-list
....well the list could go on, and on, and on.
As we grow older, we often found ourselves asking basic existential questions - what will I do in the next 5 years? What will I achieve? How can I make my parents proud of me, because of me being me? What should I do to make a living? - to no other than ourselves. I once read a GIF consisted of Ezra Koenig's photos and his quote. He was saying that those kind of questions will haunt our life. Some are lucky to have found the answer before they die - while the remaining population might could never answer those or they didn't even try to answer those questions of life (it's not a part of our local TV show).
I also believe that no matter how small our acts - be it habits, good deeds - has the possibility of changing the world to a better one. In short, I would like to encourage all my friends (or stranger that came across this post of mine), and ultimately to myself that - we really could contribute something to the world. For every doubt that cross your mind, always remember one positivity quote - and remember Him.
This post might not fully reflect the bullet points of thoughts inside my brain, but I've tried to paraphrase it and by doing so, making this blog came to live again.
So, have you found your "task"?
Are you ready to jump on and direct your own mission?
